The dates below are for students applying for the Class of 2028.

| September 23 | Application Opens | The Application for the 2025-2026 school year will be available online. |
| February 14 | Applications Closes | All application materials must be submitted to be considered for admission. |
| April 24 | Decisions are released | Decisions will be released via email and uploaded to student application portals. |
| May 5 | Student Responses Due | All Accepted and Waitpool students must accept or decline their status offer and register for placement testing to maintain their position at IMSA. |
| TBD | Placement Testing (Downstate Illinois Location - Litchfield) | All Accepted and Waitpool students must attend one Placement Testing date |
| TBD | Placement Testing (Aurora Location- IMSA Campus) | All Accepted and Waitpool students must attend one Placement Testing date |
| May 31 | All Required Annual Registration Forms Due | All Accepted and Waitpool students must complete all required forms listed in PowerSchool. |
| June 13 June 14 June 22 | Orientation | Accepted students will be required to attend ONE of these Orientation Dates. |
| July 1 | Student/School Fees, and Out-of-State Tuition Invoices are Available | Invoices will be available online in the MySchoolBucks link through PowerSchool |
| TBD | Excel Program | Students invited to this 3 week summer program will be required to attend during these dates. |
| August 1 | 1st or Full Payments Due | Student/School Fees and Out-of-State tuition 1st or Full Payments are due. |
| TBD | Sophomore Move-In | All sophomores will be required to move in this day. |
| TBD | Convocation | This is the last day for students to be pulled from the waitpool. |
| TBD | First Day of Classes | Students will start their assigned classes. |
