PBL On-site Contracts
On-site contracts enable teams to collaborate and learn in the context of the school/district community. Participants experience PBL as both learners and designers through guided practice and dialogue with each other. Facilitators are experienced PBL educators who mentor and instruct participants as they come to know the philosophical and pedagogical foundations of PBL.

- Day 2: How is PBL designed?
- Consider students and learning
- Incorporate curriculum, context and standards
- Map the possibilities of a problem/ topic
- Day 3: When and how is learning assessed in PBL?
- Explore alternative approaches
- Design assessment opportunites for the problem
- Day 4: How are the learners guided?
- Coach the cognitive process
- Involve students as active learners
- Develop engaging materials and documents
