IMSA on Wheels has created four DVDs and now you can download or videostream any of the fabulous scenes geared toward 3rd through 5th graders. The scenes are great tools to get kids excited about science.

Assembly Program

The IMSA Kids Institute has developed a FREE mobile science program called "IMSA on Wheels", for students in grades 3-5. We will visit a limited number of elementary schools in the Chicagoland area for a 45-minute interactive science assembly during the school year of 2007-2008.

The "IMSA on Wheels" theme for the fall of 2007 is "Science is Shocking" and features interactive demonstrations on electricity and magnetism that are both entertaining and educational. Developed by IMSA to spark student interest in science and encourage learning. The program is currently funded by a grant from 3M. Similar to other Kids Institute programs, "IMSA on Wheels" is developed and taught by IMSA students with supervision from IMSA staff.

"IMSA on Wheels" assemblies are scheduled on most Wednesdays each Fall and each Spring. A limited number of show dates are available and reservation requests can be made with the form below. We can only present a limited number of programs, so please reserve your spot early. Our elementary show is approximately 45 minutes long.

Again, there is no charge for our program, but we do request that participating teachers complete and return a one-page survey to provide our team with valuable feedback for continued success..
