The game, Remove One: Understanding Basic Probability, leads off an exploration of a variety of games that are fun, and challenging. Players predict what sums will come up on the roll of a pair of dice by placing markers on a number line that runs from 2 to 12. As these sums are rolled, players remove their markers from the line. The first player to remove all of his or her markers wins the game. In reality, all who play this simple game win as they come to better understand limited choices and probabilities.
