Games and puzzles have always been at the heart of human entertainment. We seek games that are fair, fun, and challenging. People are constantly seeking ways to improve and update games to make them more fun to play.

This unit encourages students to:

  • explore how the processes of critical thinking and problem solving are used in games.
  • understand the need for utilizing likely outcomes or strategies and the drawbacks to exhaustive proofs.
  • make data-based decisions based on probability, logic, long-term vision and design in games.
