IMSA Excellence 2000+ Curriculum

The unit begins with a lesson that prompts students to think about a circular or circuitous route.  In One Oh…Two Oh …students using the scientific method create conditions that will complete or break an electron path.  Following this team building activity, students launch into small groups to discuss and report out objects or concepts that are round, go round and round, and/or combinations of the two. Throughout the unit students add circular and spherical concepts to their Venn diagrams. The concepts are utilized in the final lesson, to create a culminating game.
