Searching For Information: The Search Engine

The Internet is HUGE! To find the information you seek, a variety of "search engines" have been developed. These engines constantly search the web for key words or terms which are then stored in a database and linked to the page from which they came. This helps us find otherwise hard-to-find information. Just pop the key word or words into the search engine and away you go! Even so, these engines are not particularly useful if you don't use them properly.

The link below will take you to a site here at IMSA which is designed to give you some help with improving your search strategies and make you more successful at finding what you seek. Try this site out and learn to work smarter, not harder!
