Applications for next fall enrollment to the IMSA Class of 2011 are available online at www.imsa.edu/admissions/apply/ .  Students also can contact their guidance counselor or IMSA's Office of Admissions at (630) 907-5028 or 1-800-500-IMSA to receive an application.  A written application must be completed and returned to IMSA, postmarked no later than March 1, 2008.   Talented Illinois students enrolled in the equivalent of a ninth grade program are eligible for consideration to the three-year (grades 10-12) advanced college preparatory program. All students live on campus. Tuition is provided by state funds however some fees are charged based on family income.

IMSA’s program enables its students to reach extraordinary levels of achievement.  The Academy’s students are widely recognized by organizations such as the College Board Advancement Placement Program, The Wall Street Journal and Newsweek.   IMSA’s innovative student inquiry and research programs have enabled students to earn numerous awards from national and global competitions including Intel Science Talent Search, the International Physics Olympiad and the High School Mathematical Contest in Modeling.  The Academy also offers many fine and performing arts opportunities, 27 cocurricular activities and 18 interscholastic sports.

IMSA’s highly accomplished graduates forge new frontiers as nationally recognized scientists, entrepreneurs, policy makers and leaders in other fields.  IMSA alumni have been featured for their next-generation technological applications (such as Paypal and YouTube) by Business Week, Forbes, Fortune, Good Morning America, The Wall Street Journal and the annual Webby online achievement awards.
