AURORA—The Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy® (IMSA) is hosting two large campus visitation opportunities this year. Visitor Information Program (VIP Days) are an opportunity for students, their parents and teachers interested in learning more about the Academy's academic and residential life programs. Come meet with current IMSA students, their parents, alumni and IMSA faculty and staff, and get a first-hand-look at what makes an IMSA education the opportunity of a lifetime! Several discussion panels and campus tours of our academic building and residential halls will be held on these afternoons.

Programs run from 10:30 PM to 4:00 PM. Musical entertainment by IMSA students will begin at 12:30 PM. VIP Days include a structured program. Please arrive on time. No reservations are required.
Applications for the class of 2008, which will enroll next fall, are now being accepted. Talented Illinois students enrolled in the equivalent of a ninth grade program are eligible for consideration. Tuition and most room and board expenses are provided by state funds. A written application must be completed and returned to IMSA, postmarked no later than March 1, 2005. Students should contact their high school guidance counselor or IMSA's admission office at (630) 907-5028 or 1-800-500-IMSA to receive an application. Applications may also be downloaded from www.imsa.edu.
IMSA, which opened in 1986, has graduated more than 2,900 students with college placement rates of more than 99%. The Academy offers advanced courses in mathematics, science, the arts and humanities with an emphasis on connections within and across the disciplines. Research is an important part of the academic program and enables students to work with faculty, scientists and scholars. The Academy also offers many fine and performing arts opportunities, 32 co curricular activities and 18 interscholastic sports.
