Saturday Live At IMSA Campus Visitation Opportunities Set For Prospective Students

AURORA— The Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA) will open its doors to prospective students and parents one Saturday a month (except November and January) beginning October 2004 through May 2005 to provide information about its residential educational program.

During the sessions, called Saturday Live at IMSA, admissions staff will be available from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM to answer questions about the admissions process and provide information about IMSA's academic and residential programs. Campus tours also will be available, as well as opportunities to speak with current IMSA students.

Applications for the IMSA Class of 2008, which will enroll next fall, are now available. Talented Illinois students enrolled in the equivalent of a ninth grade program are eligible for consideration. Tuition and most room and board expenses are provided by state funds. A written application must be completed and returned to IMSA, postmarked no later than March 1, 2005. Students should contact their high school guidance counselor or IMSA's admission office at (630) 907-5028 or 1-800-500-IMSA to receive an application.
