Davidson Fellows Award: Davidson Fellows are young people under the age of 18 who have completed a significant piece of work that has the potential to improve the lives of others. Individuals named as Fellows receive a $50,000, $25,000 or $10,000 scholarship to be used for tuition and related expenses at an accredited institution of learning.

Gates Millennium Scholar: The Gates Millennium Scholar (GMS) scholarship is for underserved populations who have demonstrated leadership abilities through participation in community service, extracurricular or other activities

Intel Science Talent Search: entrants compete for a) the top prize, a $100,000 scholarship, b) Finalist prizes totaling in excess of $500,000.00 and c) matching awards of $1,000 for three hundred Semifinalists and their schools. Since 1942, Science Service has made dreams come true through the Science Talent Search (STS). Intel is the sponsor of this nationwide competition - America 's oldest and most highly regarded pre-college science contest.
Eligible students include high school seniors in the United States and territories, and American students attending school abroad. Each year, almost 2000 students accept the challenge of completing an entry for the Intel Science Talent Search.

Lucent Global Science Scholars encourage students to pursue careers in communications technology by rewarding students who have made significant achievements in math and science. Winners receive: a scholarship, the opportunity to intern at Bell Labs or Lucent, and a week with researchers and fellow Lucent Global Science Scholars from all over the world at Lucent's corporate headquarters in Murray Hill, NJ.

QuestBridge/Quest Scholars Program: The Quest Scholars Program is acting in partnership with Stanford's Graduate School of Business to create a national clearinghouse of talented low-income and minority youth. To these youth, we intend to eventually collect hundreds of opportunities in the form of educational assistance, scholarships (in some cases full rides), internships, and other sponsored educational opportunities. The application to the full college scholarships offered in the QuestBridge College Match detailed below will also qualify them for potential consideration in all our future opportunities. In this way, QuestBridge's single application opens a window to six years of scholarships, awards, and other opportunities.

Quest Scholars Program: The Quest Scholars Program at Stanford University provides summer opportunities for low-income students in leadership, public service, and science. Students with a demonstrated aptitude and interest in science who are completing junior or senior year are eligible. Tuition, room and board during the summer are provided, as well as support services for the next five years! The program begins with a five-week residential summer program in mentorship and leadership on the Stanford campus, and is followed by additional support over the next 4 years, including help with college applications and continued summer opportunities for research and leadership. An added bonus when you apply to this program is the QuestBridge Program. Because the Quest Scholars Program is highly competitive, the QuestBridge Program directs the application to numerous other partner programs.

Siemens-Westinghouse Competition in Math, Science and Technology: entrants compete for a) the top national prize, a $100,000 scholarship, b) multiple national runners-up prizes ranging from $10,000 to $50,000 each, and c) awards of $3,000 for regional finalists and $1000 for regional runners-up. The Siemens Foundation, in partnership with the College Board, established the Siemens Westinghouse Competition. The Competition promotes excellence by encouraging students to undertake individual or team research projects in science, mathematics, engineering, and technology, or in combinations of these disciplines. In 1999, the Foundation hosted the first national Siemens Westinghouse Competition in Math, Science & Technology. With its high academic standards, rigorous judging process and emphasis on authentic scientific research, it has quickly become the leading science and mathematics research-based competition for high school students in the United States.

Youth Conservation Achievement Scholarship: Each year the Illinois Conservation Foundation (ICF) will recognize a select few high school students for the state's prestigious "Youth Conservation Achievement Scholarship." The annual $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to 10 high school juniors or seniors who have truly made significant contributions or exhibited unparalleled dedication in preserving, promoting, enhancing or supporting natural resources. Two students will be selected from each of the five Illinois Department of Natural Resources regions. Scholarships will be presented to the students during the annual ICF Hall of Fame Banquet.
